Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will not make any signings in January and instead try and resolve new contracts for Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin, Per Mertesacker and Santi Cazorla. (Sun)
But the job of renewing the Chilean winger’s contract won’t be that easy, as the (Daily Mirror) say that Sanchez is being urged to continue his contract stand-off with Arsenal until the summer by Paris St-Germain with the Ligue 1 side hoping to sign the winger for £60m.
